Currently we contribute approximately $50,000 each year to a wide range of worthy causes, balancing local needs with national and international programs and beneficiaries. Details are provided on our Fundraising page.
We always try to help financially or with other support in family emergencies such as a fire or medical situations. We are especially sympathetic to palliative care and home support organisations such as the Outcare Foundation. We have also been a strong supporter of the Community Resource Centre, which provides the local food bank and other community services.
We are actively supporting Indigenous Reconciliation
Navan Lions club has shown strong support to the Lions Vision Screening Program in local Ottawa schools. We also collect used eyeglasses for recycling in a national program.
We support a number of camps for children with special needs and also the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario.

We provide support and and many services to local organizations and events. We also have equipment for rent or (in many cases) free loan, and we can produce some wooden articles or knitted items to order for a suitable donation. Our Services page has more information.
